Ambitious plans for Oldham's regeneration

Property Developers Muse have been appointed by Oldham Council on a 15-year contract, with a potential 10 year extension to redevelop 24 acres of the town centre. 

The project could top £550 Million, as Oldham have ambitious plans to regenerate on a large scale.

The project team at Muse will be  headed by Oldham Phil Mayall. They plan to create a town centre which will create a town centre at the cutting edge for future generations

as well as the current communities and make Oldham an amazing place to live.

The plan is to make the Borough a greener, more attractive space with increased places to shop, eat and enjoy leisure time. The focus will be on community and susatainabilty

doing justice to  Oldham’s rich heritage. A joint project board has been appointed which meets quarterly and Oldham Council and Muse will be engaged over the next 6 months in a detailed strategy, along with the business plans for the town centre sites.
