Roughyeds sign Featherstone hooker Matty Wildie

Oldham Roughyeds have signed hooker Matty Wildie on a two year deal.

     

The 33-year-old is reuniting with his former Featherstone coach Sean Long again at Oldham next season,  a mbig reason why he’s decided to make Boundary Park his home for the next two years.

Matty made more than 250 career appearances for Wakefield, Dewsbury, Featherstone, Bradford, Leigh and Featherstone.

He can also play half-back, and he played 53 games for Featherstone in his time at Post Office Road over the last two seasons.

Roughyed fans are hoping that the addition of Matty wild help bring success I the coming season to Oldham as they look forward to pre season training.
