Local MP Debbie Abrahams has written to the Department of transport and rail North concering delays at Greenfield station following contact with the Greenfield Rail Action Group.
She also highlighted the issues at the station faced by disabled and elderly people aswell as young families with prams, pointing out that there are 24 steps either side of the platform to navigate.
The Greenfield Rail Action group are also concerned about the effect of overcrowding during during the rush hour period pointing out that commuters have had a 24 percent increase in season ticket prices over the last few years but have not seen any improvement in the standard of services.
Oldham East and Saddleworth MP Debbie Adams also expressed frustration that users have not been provided with better acccess despite her raing the on many occasions.
