Oldham Carnival rescheduled for September 18th

Organisers have rescheduled the date for the Oldham Carnival as September 18th after they had been forced to cancel the Carnival on the original date of of Sunday July 10th due to torrential rain.
The waterlogged grounds had been left unsuitable for activities because of the weather.
 
The original carnival included the Oldham Carnival Rootz Festival which is renowned as one of the highlights of the summer calendar, .
allowing local musical talent were due to perform at the Rootz stage. Also many people were and many were looking forward to testing out their ice-skating skills on the dry ice rink.
 
A Fun Dog Show, organised by the Manchester and Cheshire Dogs home , was also due to take place, as well as the UK Dance Troop Championships which would’ve seen up to 30 regional and national teams battle it out for the title.
