Oldham Council are going to invest £1million in a new 'high specification' playing surface at Latics Boundary Park ground.
Since the new takeover at Oldham Athletic a great relationship has developed between the Latics, the Council and Oldham Rugby League Club.A new vision of better sporting clubs and community facilities has formed by the partnership which will help provide a better sporting future for Oldham with Boundary Park becoming a centre of sporting excellence and a place which will also unlock wider opportunities in education, health and employment.
The pitch should be ready for the start of the 2023/2024 season and Roughyeds are hoping to start playing Rugby League at Boundary Park from 2024
