Local residents are being encouraged to visit Parliament Square for the annual Easter-themed event, "Spring into Oldham" by Oldham Council and the Town Centre's Business Partnership.
The Easter themed Event takes place on Saturday 8 April between 11am-4pm and will be packed with free fun activities for all the family.
Activities include meeting Chickedy and Chick from the hit TV show ‘Twirlywoos’ a petting farm, which includes real bunnies, chicks and a Jersey calf.
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt around Parliament Square with the Easter Bunny, story-telling sessions inside a giant inflatable Easter egg, and Easter bonnet-making craft activities.
There will be opportuntities to show off homemade creations alongside Ollie and Millie, the Town Centre mascot owls, during an Easter parade around the Square at 3pm.
Councillor Jean Stretton, Leader of Oldham Council, said: “This is a fantastic day out for all of the family and it’s also a great opportunity to pick up some Easter treats or new springtime clothes.
“With great free entertainment on offer, I’d encourage you all to come down - and whilst you’re down there why not visit the Old Town Hall or the Independent Quarter?”
