It is hoped The Oldham Council 'Northern Roots' project near Alexandra Park is to be showcased at Hampton court Flower show.
"Northern Roots" involves developing Britain's biggest urban farm and eco-park adjacent to Alexandra Park on 160 acres at Snipe Clough. This "Eden of the North" could also be home a micro brewery and a sports area.
Preparations are at an advanced stage to be part of next years RHS Hampton Court Palace garden festival.
