Oldham Council bosses have agreed to install a new slide feature at at Waterhead Park in Spring Hill to promote play and activity around the park.
The project sees a builder pay towards infrastructure, environment and education in the local area in conjunction wityh the council. The installation of the slide unit will improve the existing play provision
and permission was acquired through a "106" agreement.The 106 agreements are part of the process of granting planning permission, which sees a builder pay towards infrastructure, environment and education in the local area. The cost is being split across the initial purchase of the steel tunnel embankment slide and other associated costs such as design and development.
