Oldham Active are investing £500k in refurbishing their four leisure centres in the Borough.
These include the Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Failsworth Sports Centre, Oldham Leisure Centre and Royton Leisure Centre.
TechnoGym will be undertaking the work which is already underway which involves upgrading and enlarging gym space, upgrading cardiovascular fitness equipment, with new exercise bikes being fitted for indoor cycling across the four centres and the Royton leisure centre will also be fitted with a state state-of-the-art sauna. All four leisure centres will undergo a makeover and it is hoped that all
he refurbishments and upgrades will be completed by late 2023.
