Oldham based eCommerce company Direct Home Living has transformed their warehouse into a public showroom where customers can see their products first-hand before buying online.

Significant upgrades to their existing building at Adelaide Mill have allowed Direct Home Living to open up the space to the public as an outlet store. Customers can come along and see the products before purchasing them online, ensuring they get the high street experience with the added bonus of the cheaper online prices.

The Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Derek Heffernan, joined the Direct Home Living staff and guests for the official opening day of the outlet store. He said: “It’s always good to see businesses investing in the local area, and the renovation work done here at Adelaide Mill to create a substantial warehouse and retail space for customers is fantastic."

Previously known as MDM Furniture, Direct Home Living has made it their mission to offer a broad range of premium furniture at affordable prices. Their collection of oak dining sets, coffee tables, cupboards and bedroom furniture are all available to see at their Oldham showroom.

Marcel Duffy, general manager of Direct Home Living, said: “When it comes to furniture, we believe people really want to touch and feel a piece, to test its weight and sturdiness, to better visualise a place for it in their homes, and that is especially true of our products because we sell quality furniture without the high-street prices.”

The new showroom is designed to be a friendly space for customers to come in and speak to the team as they experience the products. It is based at Adelaide Mill, Gould Street, Oldham and is open to the public now.
