Apprentice star visits Oldham college

Apprentice finalist Vana Koutsomitis was at Oldham College recently where she spoke about Wayra, a London tech start-up accelerator, which is due to launch in Oldham.
Vana missed out on Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment in her app DatePlay, which sees single peole play games to meet their match. DatePlay, which  recently raised £150,000 on the crowdfunding platform Seedrs, exceeding it's target by £30,000. She is determined to prove Lord sugar wrong and it is hoped the app will be ready to launch in a few months.
 
She described how the start up accelerator allows up and coming entrepreneurs to be surrounded by like minded people in a collective and inspiring environment with the inspiration of other companies developing their products.
 
Vana's dating app uses interactive games to analyse a people's personality ans collects behavioural insights and then suggests matches that users are likely to be compatible with. Vana co-founded Dateplay with her university friend Joris Magenti.
