At the permanent Oldham Stories Exhibition at Gallery Oldham you can see some of Oldham's most cherished artefacts as well as some surprises.
The exhibition brings together, Natural History, Social History and Art Collections from Oldham's past and present. They include local figures such as suffragette Annie Kenney, daredevil speedway rider Clem Beckett and artist Helen Bradley and it also focuses on Oldham's industrial and cultural landscape; there are specimens of taxidermy to industrial archaeology.
Oldham Stories also includes some of the best paintings of the local countryside. There is also a display of natural history that features the many different types of habitat that can be found across the area. On display is a banner featuring a special Love Letter to Oldham.
