As part of ther "illuminate" event Oldham Council have commissioned "lluminos" who specialise in large scale building projection lightshows.
On the 16th February the face of the Old Town hall will be lit up with images of Oldham Theatre Workshop to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Oldham Theatre Workshop provide a wide range of drama and theatre related workshops whic h involved acting, improvisation, singing, dancing and design. They provide oppoprtunities for young people aged 6-25 to perform in major theatre productions. The workshop also support local schools and deliver teacher training and drama activities both in and out of school time and undertake partnership projects with community groups and other agencies who wish to use drama as a medium for learning.
