Oldham LIVE 2018, a spectacular free family entertainment and music festival held right in the very heart of Oldham town centre.
Oldham Council and Revolution96.2 have teamed up to put on a day packed with family fun and offering something for all ages and tastes on Saturday 25 August in Parliament Square.
Oldham LIVE kick offs from 12noon until 4pm with Sid Sloane, CBeebies’ longest-serving presenter, headlining the stage show with an interactive Sid’s Gameshow. There’s also Russ Brown’s amazing puppet show, plus madcap antics and magic from Andy B.
Live music then gets underway from around 6pm until 10pm with a dazzling line-up headlined by Indie Britpop, Dodgy, who are best known for smash hits like ‘Staying Out For The Summer’ and ‘Good Enough’. Support acts include Owen Paul, who is famed for his huge 1986 hit ‘My Favourite Waste of Time’, Brit Award nominees Sweet Female Attitude, Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Ella Shaw, and a DJ set from Revolution 96.2’s Dave Sweetmore.
