Manchester architect Leach Rhodes Walker is redeveloping of Oldham Town Centre including  Tommyfield Market, the Civic Centre, Oldham Police Station, the former Oldham Sports Centre and Oldham Magistrates Court and Oldham Coliseum Theatre, 

This includes a new market on the old Tommyfield Market site and a 600-capacity car park, a new civic hub to host a multi-agency public sector centre and commercial office space, as well as a new hotel and homes.
