Dan Gardner's penalty strike saw latics earn a point in the League Two encounterat Forest Green.

 

The visitors took the lead when a half clearance from Oldham defender reached Forest Green's Reuben Reid who blasted the ball into the top right hand corner.

 

Latic's keeper, on loan from Premier League side Leicester made a number of great saves in the second half.

 

then Latics levelled the score on 78 minutes when skipper Gardner put the ball past keeper Forest Green's Keeper Robert Sanchez.

 

Latics took a point away in a hard fought 1-1 draw.
