Oldham boss Dino Maamria was frustrated at players sent off for reckless as Latics lose 6-1

away at Mansfield Town.

Tomas Egert and Filipe Morais were both sent off in the 37th minute with Oldham 2- 0 down.

After the double sending off, an error by  Mansfield goalkeeper Conrad Logan allowed nine men Latics a goal after 43 minutes.

However shortly afterwards Mansfield striker Maynard raced away onto through-ball in and rounded the Latics keeper to complete his hat-trick on the stroke of half-time.

After the. break Mansfield took advantage of their superior numbers and extended their lead with goals from an Oldham own goal and through striker Dapo Afolayan tomake it 5 -1. Later in the game Oldham's nightmare continued as substitute Dylan Fage was carried off on a stretcher, then Mansfield substitute Jimmy Knowles scored through a penalty making it 6- 1 after Hamer had brought down Afolayan with minutes to go.
