Oldham physicist Brian Cox clashes with climate change sceptic
Oldham physicist Professor Brian Cox recently clashed with an Australian politician who believes climate change is a conspiracy spun by the United Nations on ABC panel show Q&A in Australia.
Malcom Roberts, from the anti-immigration One Nation party, insisted that data had been 'manipulated' and there was no empirical evidence that suggested humans affected the outcome of climate change.
Professor Cox produced a graph showing the effects of humans on climate change. It was not enough to convince Mr Roberts who claimed that climate data had been 'corrupted' and was a conspiracy involving Nasa and the United Nations.
Cox then laughs loadly as he absorbs the response. He then offers his data to Roberts after he claims the evidence being presented is "not science" as the audience applaud loudly.
