New Homes proposed on the site of demolished Hartford Mill

A planning application is waiting to be submited to build 250 homes on the site of the demolished Hartford Mill in North Werneth.

The 8.7-acre North Werneth site has good transport links and is close to the Freehold Metrolink stop.

The final piece of demolition of the mill the was completed this year, the mill was built in 1907 and was producing cotton will into the late 1950’s.

Estate agent Entwhistle Green has nbeen asked to find a buyer for the site thought to be worth around £14m providing a great opportunity to build homes on the Brownfield site.
