Oldham has welcomed the £20 million boost it has received from the levelling up fund this week. It is one of three successful awards across Greater Manchester.
The funds will mean that Eco projects such as the "Green Roots" business Cenre and "Oldham Greenway" will get extra help, local residents and businesses will also see an improvement in connectivity and job opportunities as a result.
Oldham Council are determined to identify exciting projects as part of the "Levelling Up" bids, making Oldham a better place to live, work and visit.
