The Keep Britain Tidy’s national awareness event returns from March 17 until April 2.
Oldham is supporting the charity by holding a borough-wide day of action on Friday, March 17.
Oldham Council Ward members and teams from across various local authority departments will be helping by litter picks and clean ups at sites that have been identified as needing a bit of extra attention.
Since Don’t Trash Oldham started in September 2021 lots of residents, organisations, schools and groups have got behind our efforts to keep their communities tidy.
Cleaning up the area costs residents and the council hundreds of thousands of pounds each year so helping keep the Borough saves money as well keeping it tidy.
Oldham Borough Council also loans out equipment to help..
